Over 8000 people join 13th Ladakh Marathon

Leh, September 13 Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena today flagged off the 42-km Full Marathon and 21-km Half Marathon at the 13th Ladakh Marathon in Leh, which witnessed the participation of over 8,000 runners.

Runners from across India and around the world came together in Ladakh, embracing the spirit of endurance, determination and adventure against the backdrop of the region’s breathtaking landscape.

The Ladakh Marathon has grown into a prestigious international sporting event, showcasing Ladakh’s unique landscape, rich cultural heritage and warm hospitality to participants and visitors from across the globe.

The event brought together thousands of athletes, along with organisers, volunteers and support teams, whose collective efforts contributed to its successful conduct.

The Lieutenant Governor congratulated all the participants, organisers, volunteers and support teams for making the event a success. He wished every runner the very best and expressed hope that they would carry unforgettable memories of Ladakh with them.
