Ensure timely completin of 33 KV Diskit–Chulungka power line; Nubra DC

Nubra,12 August, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Nubra, Mukul Beniwal, has directed officials concerned to complete 33 kV Diskit–Chulungka power line project on time. He also deliberated upon matters requiring interdepartmental coordination for its timely completion.

During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted of the progress achieved, works pending at various stages, and factors affecting the pace of execution. The meeting also deliberated upon utility shifting,conducting joint surveys wherever required, mobilisation of manpower and provision of necessary technical support by the concerned departments and executing agencies.

The Deputy Commissioner directed all concerned agencies to ensure timely completion of their respective responsibilities and maintain effective coordination for resolving field level constraints and pending matters. He stressed the need for close monitoring and regular follow up of the works to prevent avoidable delays and ensure the smooth, expeditious and timely completion of the 33 kV Diskit–Chulungka power line project.

The meeting was attended by SDM Nubra, Sh. Tashis Jorgais, Officer Commanding, 54 RCC GREF,XEN, Project Wing, Leh,and Chief General Manager, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited.
