Kashmir’s MMA fighter Owais Yaqoob stuns Bulgarian fighter Delyan Georgiev at BRAVE CF 107

JAMMU, Aug. 2: The son of the soil, Kashmiri mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Owais Yaqoob has clinched a stunning victory of his professional career by defeating previously unbeaten Bulgarian fighter Delyan Georgiev via first-round technical knockout (TKO) at BRAVE CF 107, held in Bulgaria.

Owais, with his quick reflexes and precise punches defeated his Bulgarian rival with the 4:00 mark of Round 1.

Referee Declan Larkin stopped the fight after Georgiev was found disoriented and unable to defend himself.

Owais’ win has brought home impromptu celebrations as his win marked a major achievement for Indian fighters on the global stage.

With his impressive win, Owais has improved his professional MMA record to 6 wins and 1 loss.

However, Georgiev’s record dropped to 3 wins and 1 loss following his first career setback.
