JMC comes up with Net Zero Cooling station at Tawi Riverfront

JAMMU, AUGUST 14: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today inaugurated a ‘Net Zero Cooling Station’ at the Suryaputri Tawi Riverfront to provide relief to visitors from the summer heat.
The facility was inaugurated by JMC Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav. The cooling station operates entirely on solar power, with the electricity generated by the solar system powering both its cooling and lighting systems.
The initiative reflects JMC’s commitment to promoting renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure and citizen-friendly public spaces.
