Southern army commander reviews readiness of armoured regiments in Eastern Ladakh

LEH, August 24 Lt Gen Rajesh Pushkar, AVSM, VSM, Army Commander, Southern Command, visited Armoured Regiments of the Indian Army deployed in Eastern Ladakh in his capacity as Colonel of the Regiment, reviewing their operational preparedness and evolving capabilities in the challenging high-altitude environment.

During the visit, Lt Gen Pushkar assessed the professional standards, operational readiness and capability enhancement of the regiments. He appreciated the formations’ continued emphasis on technology infusion and modernisation, while maintaining a high state of preparedness under demanding climatic and operational conditions.

Interacting with officers and troops, the Army Commander commended their professionalism, dedication and commitment to duty. He also lauded their efforts to uphold the proud traditions, legacy and ethos of the Armoured Corps.
