New Bus Service Launched
The key highlight of the event was the launch of a new bus service connecting Civil

The service has been initiated as a joint effort of Airports Authority of India, Jammu
Airport and Jammu Smart City Limited, with the objective of providing passengers with a
convenient public transport option and improving connectivity between the airport and
the city’s major transportation hubs.
The bus service was formally flagged off by Shri Jugal Kishore Sharma, Hon’ble
Member of Parliament, Jammu, in the presence of other dignitaries.
The new service will provide an additional and convenient mode of onward connectivity
for passengers travelling between the airport, railway station and General Bus Stand.
Additional Passenger Facilitation Measures
As part of the ongoing efforts to make the passenger journey more convenient and
passenger-centric, Civil Airport Jammu has also introduced/strengthened several
facilitation measures.

Taxi pick-up facilities are being facilitated within the airport premises for passengers.
Tour operators have also been permitted to pick up their passengers from within the
airport premises, with a designated parking area available for such vehicles.
For the convenience of Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM), vehicles
accompanying PRM passengers are permitted inside the airport premises for drop-off,
as per the prescribed procedure.
Further, QR-based feedback mechanisms have been installed at various passenger
touchpoints, enabling passengers to share their feedback, suggestions and experience
directly with the airport.
