JAMMU:
Going by spike in terror activities across Jammu region, it becomes evident that Pakistan refuses to learn its lessons from Operation Sindoor and has yet again speeded up aiding and abetting terrorism to foment violence in J&K this summer.
Seizure of nearly 2 kg heroin dropped by suspected Pak drone seized in Bahadurpur village in Jammu’s Bishnah, presence of a South Lebanese terrorist in Poonch region and ongoing encounter in Rajouri’s Gambhir Mughlan area clearly indicate that Pakistan’s military establishment headed Mullah Munir has not given up its anti India policy and there is no change in the doctrine of “bleed India by thousand cuts”.
A local recently had tipped off the Jammu and Kashmir Police, about a drone dropping contraband in his fields near the Indo-Pak International Border in Jammu district.
The area, it may be stated, has several sleeper cells of the terrorists, who need to be identified and taken to task.
The packet was recovered from Bahadurpur Panchayat in the Bishnah area after a local resident saw a drone hovering over his fields and subsequently winched down a packet before flying away.
Similarly, intelligence inputs of a South Lebanese terrorist codenamed “Baazi” from Al Maashouq, having infiltrated with three other terrorists of Pakistani origin has prompted the security forces to launch massive anti-terrorist operation in the Poonch sector.
The ongoing operation Sheruwali in Rajouri district is the result of sustained combing operations launched by the security forces south of Pir Panjal.
LG Manoj Sinha needs to convey in unambiguous terms to security forces to go for the kill and crush the head of Pak sponsored terrorism before it raised its ugly head again.
